Meater Plus x2

Years ago I bought a meater stick plus for the long distance wifi and i couldnt be happier but my question is this…. If i purchase a second meater plus stick will i be able to use both off the same app?  When i emailed meater i got a very generic response that basically avoided the question.  Didnt and still really dont have the need for the meater block as its only cooking for two people.

  • The Meater app should be able to pair 4 different probes, I think.

I have two individual Meater + units.  They both show up on the same App.

Sorry that is so huge.  TWSS.

Anyway, if you have multiple devices, you can choose which one(s) you have on each device.  The only drawback is that my "#1" unit shows as "#2" on my other phone.  Since they are reversed on each phone it makes it a little confusing.

I pair the meater plus bases with a tablet and don't pair anything with my phone.

The tablet is close to my grilling area and is the bridge to wifi and the meater cloud. I like being able to see it at a glance.

Since I don't pair probes with my phone,  and my phone only gets data from the meater cloud it reflects exactly what's on the tablet.

My experience is the meater is less accurate than a TW smoke. The ambient is always lower and the meat temp lags.

You’ll be hard pressed to find more accurate readings than TW products. The MEATER is good enough for what its purpose should be. Indispensable for rotisserie work.
