I have a Mary's air chilled heirloom chicken spatchcocked and dry brining in the refrigerator right now getting ready for dinner tomorrow night. I feel like I'm in a bit of a rut on my spatchcock chickens lately and could use some inspiration for a new variation.

Cedar planked chicken. Here is just one variety. Good stuff.

This is one of my favorite chix recipes. Easy cook, very flavorful.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
Thanks @caliking, it was a hit!
Today was oddly my first time breaking down a whole raw chicken. I'm currently making a stock with the carcass, legs, and wings which are not needed for the kebabs.Plymouth, MN -
Glad you enjoyed it. It's a real keeper.
