Gasket question

Did ribs yesterday but I couldn’t keep the egg on low/slow using my Flameboss 500. Went out this morning and fire was still smoldering. Obviously getting air from somewhere. We just moved so I thought the dome might need an adjustment. Everything looks lined up but I noticed a significant gap in the gasket where smoke was coming out. Does it work to just replace a segment of the gasket where it’s missing or do i need to replace the whole thing?

Definitely need to replace the entire gasket piece either on dome or base.
How low of a temp were you trying to keep?
Your top vent needs to be closed almost completely closed when using a lower vent fan controller. The fan will force the air out when needed.
    Thank you,

Daisy Wheel was completely closed. Cooking ribs at 225 and dome got up to 350+. Been using a FB for years and have never had a problem like this before. Thanks!
