I have wasted too much time today trying to solve a problem at AMAZON which only can be solved by talking with a human being - even an on-line chat might work, but I can't even locate that connection! Any insight on how to reach someone?

AMAZON "help" is a joke!!!

    Thank you ever so much! While it did not resolve the issue because the sender is in Canada the AMAZON person was able to tell me how to help the sender to resolve the issue!!!

    Here is my super secret DirectTV number.  Used this for about 20 years.  Goes direct to new customer setup.  It is the number installers use when they setup your system.  Skips all the menu/wait BS.

    HEY WE SHOULD SET UP A SUPER SECRET PHONE NUMBERS THREAD!  YES, I AM YELLING.  I used to have several. . . UPS hub by my house for example.  When they answer, they just say hello - because it was only for ups to ups communication.  This would be a great resource.

    I'll take a super-secret number for FedEx.
    You can't talk to anyone in this country (USA) and when you do get a person they'll tell you they can't help you.

    I'm to the point where if FedEx is the only shipping option I look elsewhere.

    I have to add, I once watched a FedEx driver turn around in my driveway and mark my delivery as undeliverable because of road conditions.

    I'm all in with anyone here who can't stand FedEx.  This forum used to give FedEx (the 5 letter shipping company used as code to preclude the nuking or submerged treatment) shielding whenever mentioned in a thread.  New thread here so if those at BGE hold major stock in FedEx roll in, no loss.
    Perhaps the holdings have lessened as there seems to be more comments regarding FedEx and their performance still alive and readable.  B)

    I can NOT stand the L A Z Y FedEx clown who delivers in our neighborhood! He drives a LARGE company delivery vehicle and will not walk his ass 5 feet from his truck door to deliver a package! It's alway just "throw it out and be gone"!

    OTOH we get an equal number of deliveries by UPS and "all of them" - which I mean to explain is there are many UPS delivery men and women who will walk the package to our front porch!

    It doesn't matter right now. Amazon, ups, FedEx, usps etc, all suck. Late night and weekend deliveries on the side of the road, what could go wrong....

    not sure why the issue?  Amazon doesn't make it easy to get a live person but it is definitely doable.  Just follow the prompts under contact us.
