Rotisserie trays

Which size fits the Joetisserie in a large BGE? Any downside to using them?

Large Joetisserie fits the Large BGE.

I LOVE my flat basket.  Probably use that 10x more than the tumble basket or just the spit alone.  Mostly for chicken breasts, pork chops and sausages.
Love doing a turkey or chicken(s) on the spit alone, too.

I started off using fire bricks to keep the fire in the "back" of the LBGE.  Now have the CGS Stainless Basket Divider .

  • I was asking more about the rib-o-later or something similar.

I have the rib o later new from BBQ guys.  Used it one time.  St Luis rbs cut down barely fit.  It woks but is slightly flimsy.  I wouldn't suggest it.  Did wings in it.  The flat tubler baskets work great for larger items say wings.  Shrimp.  Slides right out.  The tumbler baskets work amazing.  The tighter the mesh rhe smaller the items but the harder to clean.  Something hinged is harder to clean than something that separates in halves.  Something that separates in halves is harder to handle when hot a.f.

    My .02

    I have a napoleon basket.
I have an onward basket flat shirt and super XL
I am really looking at the endure basket.  Black.  Latching lock.  Nice looking.
    Rib o later.

Napoleon for wings or shrimp.  Flat basket for camping and burgers on Rotisserie.  Rib o later.  Not too well. Salmon didn't do well I. It either.

So I’m a little confused. Are you saying the rib-o-later is pretty much worthless? I have a napoleon basket that I use for wings, etc. So no need for the rib-o-labor?

I picked up the bbqguys rotisserie trays, but have yet to play around with it so I have no opinion on how it performs. Something to know is the center tube of this rig has a larger interior diameter than the bge pits outer diameter making it off center. This needs a small shim correct. A small nut on each side worked for me across the tightening screws.

In my opinion .  After using various baskets. And then using the rib o later.  I have no use for the rib o later trays.  They don't fit the large bge well.  The are sorta flimsy.  They stick.  Spare ribs don't fit.  Baby backs need trimmed down.  Wings in the flat tray are very limited to quantity per tray.  Not for me.

Hope this helps.  I know they are frozen.  But these are small baby backs.  I left the weight sticker for you to judge.  Spareribs definitely don't fit.  Those laser cut outs tear up scrubber clothes etc during clean up
