I have an ANOVA brand sous vide heater which I love. This weekend somehow the clamp which holds it to the vessel broke. I have no clue why, but it did. I tried to repair it with epoxy, but the break was so bad it would not fit back well.
Since the unit works fine - I sent an email to ANOVA trying to buy a replacement part. I received an immediate reply asking me for my model number, my name and address and for a picture. Also nearly immediately the response came back that they were shipping me a replacement part! GRATIS!!!

Always great when a company stands up for its products. Recently had a similarly-great experience with Benzomatic. Good peeps!
Ron, I have a similar case purchased on Amazon and am very happy with it. -
An interaction with BGE concerning warranty goes something like this. (for me anyway). Email dealer copy of receipt and photo of damage, follow up with call, manager will call back, part will be ordered on next stock order, three months go by and email BGE directly, no response, call BGE, get the guys voicemail, BGE finally reaches out and gives warranty approval email to be shown to dealer (big help), 5 months later talk to someone else at dealer and learn the part was never ordered, but it will be here on next stocking order, not sure when that will be. Part comes in, go to dealer to pick up and get blank stare, "did anyone order a bge part for this guy?"

I've had a warranty claim with BGE for about three years. Every few months, I go to the dealer to get the email address to send the pictures and my proof of purchase. Then I forget. I've done this several times. Still haven't sent the pictures.
