We moved about 3 1/2 years ago and I inherited TONS of new projects. My BGE cooking hasn't stopped but has been significantly reduced due to time constraints. I haven't been an active forum contributor for a while as a result - thank you to all of you that continue to make this place an awesome gathering of great cooks!
A couple of years ago, a good friend delivered this to my house as his great grandfather had brought it back from WWII and they were going to throw it away. As it stands currently, I don't have room to store it and save it for a restoration as much as I would love to. I don't see significant spare time anywhere in my future. If you live in MN or are interested in driving to the Twin Cities to pick it up. You can have it. If you wanted to bring a six-pack as a gesture of kindness, I would accept it only if you're willing to have one with me and talk about BGE cooking for a bit. I don't even really know what it would take to restore, but 10 years ago, I would have been elated to receive this gift. Right now, I would rather pay it forward and see it saved at a new home. From what I can tell, it's all original.
