Very surprised to find these at WM!
Been a long time since I had one and forgot what a great flavor this little steak has.

I've only ever slow cooked these to pull. Are they pretty good as a steak?

Eye of round roast cut is different from chuck eye steaks. Chuck eye steaks are more similar to a ribeye steak. Maybe you are confusing the cuts?

I am for sure, maybe I've never even seen one. I'll have to keep an eye out.

Certain geographies refer to them as Delmonico, Chuck Delmonico, or some other names.

It comes from one rib (5th) before actual ribeyes (6-12), so it is very similar to a ribeye.

Some butchers don't cut them into steaks, but sell the chuck eye roast.  If you see that, you can slice your own steaks, or ask the butcher to slice it for you.

I rarely see them here, but I can get them at the meat market just by asking.
