Brisket sale

For those who have a Kroger’s grocery store in their area, they are running a sale on their briskets. Saw these earlier today. Sale started today and think it runs until next Tuesday.

    Nice! I seen Costco had some for a really good deal plus $10 off, should of grabbed one of those. 
    Instead of whole packer at 3.99 I got these points at 4.99. Saw the butcher cut off the flat and trimmed off excess fat (but not too aggressively). 2/3 of nicer cut from whole packer for about 1/2 the price overall, score! Cringe at the thought that some folks will buy the flats for 4.99.
