OT - Cancel any Yellowstone plans, this year (at least)

Dayam. Yellowstone just got inundated with a buttload of rain; all gates closed, many within the park stranded, no expected reopenings until at least Thursday. The footage I've seen of the road destruction so far, it's gonna take one or more years to repair. Roads, not just bridges.

Yup. I'm up here now. Everything is closed. We are making due though. Meet some real nice folks and spending some time at their ranch. Might never get my daughter home.

Someone on the Volkswagen electric car forum should be within a days travel of there. He left central Alabama, drove to I 10, turned West, drove to Las Vegas, met his wife at the airport, and turned towards Yellow Stone.
