I know this kind of drubbing isn't all that unusual for you Brits to observe, but I have to say it's kind of refreshing to see a leading politician held to account like this.  And I don't even know the merits of the arguments.  We don't really have anything like this over here - the closest we get are debates between two candidates.

Well, it is a shambles.  Irrespective which team you support we have a leader who is a triumph of opportunity and populism sustained by distraction and deflection,  plus the occasional chucking colleagues under the bus.
Not entire sure how well equipped the other gan are either.

The style of debate here can be confrontational / grand-standing. Makes for entertainment for time to time.
