Just ran across the obit that he died last Tue 3-8. While I never saw the old guy performing in the French Quarters there in NO I did get a kick out of some videos of that old guy.
BTW @nolaegghead did you ever see him perform, or was his mystique just an internet enhancement of many street performers down there in NO?
