Morning All:
Well, I posted about the "bad & ugly" in my earlier post about the pizza so now it is time for the GOOD...the 2022 Chain of Lakes EggFest was FANTASTIC, again...I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked but that's what happens when you're cooking like crazy...we started with a very loaded CR-v including my small EGG...

once we were set up it is the calm before the storm

plus a beautiful view from our cook area...

as usual the first cook was the Sausage/Cheddar Cheese bread roll...we also did a Ham/Swiss/Asiago bread roll (but no picture)...

we also kept the small Egg going with four pans of Roasted Root Veggies (sweet potato, fingerling potato, carrot, red beet & garlic)...

closeup of a serving...

also some Shrimpburgers just on the Egg

then ready to come off...

working together to add the Wasabi Mayo

to serve them bite size...

Kathy also did a cookie/fruit pizza (no pictures unfortunately as it was devoured so fast)...
then finished the day with a few swords of Picanha just on

& then experiencing the flames...

overall a GREAT day!

Jay and Kathy, having seen the two of you WOWING the public up here at one of the Peoria IL Eggfests I can attest to the fact you two are walking & talking tributes to BGE! Hotlanta ought to get you two on the payroll some way some how!SSN686 said:Morning All:Well, I posted about the "bad & ugly" in my earlier post about the pizza so now it is time for the GOOD...the 2022 Chain of Lakes EggFest was FANTASTIC, again...I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked but that's what happens when you're cooking like crazy...we started with a very loaded CR-v including my small EGG...
