What recommendations for bbq gloves

I had a mishap with my firepit and my old gloves have taken a permanent holiday. Do you have any recommendations in the UK?

I have the fabric ones, they allow me to lift my conveggtor basket out at 260 degrees Celsius (in one go, mind you, do not try to walk about). Very reasonably priced as well IMO.

I can recommend don't leave them in your grill outside ... the mice have eating through 2 of the fingers on some perfectly good leather gloves I have!!!! Darn varmints!

Look for aramid fiber gloves (trade names include Nomex).  Very heat resistant, very soft and flexible, very unappetizing to rodents, very reasonably priced (in most cases) and machine washable without degrading the glove's properties.
