Cracked Fire Grate

I did a clean burn this morning to get the egg ready for doing a rib roast tomorrow, and when I opened it up to clean the ash I found my Fire Grate is cracked. I've had the Egg since October 2016 and I expect the 5 year warranty has lapsed. It's still functional but I'm hoping my dealer will be able to get me a new one without too much delay. I'm wondering if there's an aftermarket choice I should consider?

    Kick Ash Basket for multiple reasons.  

    There are many other options, but don't waste your money on another POS fire grate that's just going to rust and break.  Get something in stainless at a minimum.

    My fire grate is both cracked and mangled.  Still going strong.  I'm too lazy to replace it.

    Amazon has grates aka shower drains for not much $$$

    I just received an early Christmas gift, a KA basket and can, so I can't yet comment on them.

    I thought it was a lifetime warranty?

    I thought it was a lifetime warranty?
