Oven fired grill grates
Elijah
Posts: 787
I have tried to get my grill grates semi clean a few times with a few different methods. It doesn't bother me that they're dirty, but I'd prefer for them to be clean. I had the pizza oven out and threw them in there for a few minutes. It worked better than anything I've tried. Didn't get any pictures except after the fact. Pretty sure I didn't ruin the grates or the oven. The grates were glowing red after less than 5 minutes.

looks good from here! And BTW you couldn't ruin that gasket in a BGE if you tried!

Easy off oven cleaner heavy duty. Into a plastic trash bag for 2 hours. Rinse.
Columbus, Ohio -
It was supplied by a BGE legend 🙂
