Really interesting story on CBS this morning.  FDA just gave approval for an eyedrop called "Vuity"; it allows the iris of the eye to close down further (like closing down the aperture of a camera lens) allowing better vision close-up.  One drop in each eye in the morning, works for 6-10 hours, $80 for a 30-day supply, insurance doesn't cover it yet.  I may have to ask my eye Dr. about this; when I got my Lasik I had one eye done for better vision up-close, that lasted for a few years but now I need readers even with a bright computer screen.
