OT: Digital Art Help

Norah Grace loves to draw, paint, and so on….thinking she might be interested in digital sketching/art.   Anyone have experience with the Apple Pencil?  Can you recommend a good drawing app for the iPad?   Just trying to figure out a Christmas gift?

Hope you got the 50% off price. If I remember they don't hit you all the time for upgrade payments. Make sure you register the product for free additional brushes and effects. Also, get Norah Grace to register for an account on the user forum. Hope she has fun with it Dad!

I got a 12.9" iPad last spring, and got the obscenely-priced Apple Pencil.  Just this afternoon, I saw this video on why its so expensive, and I've shifted my thinking a bit:

Another hint: get a "Paperlike" screen protector for her iPad, it changes the "sketching" experience immensely (and kills most smudges/glare).
