Just starting a thread about recreating Tday leftovers. My nephew brought pulled pork and I suggested that he try pulled pork Mac and cheese.

We had a Thanksgiving leftovers throwdown a few years ago that had some pretty interesting ideas.
I made eggrolls from leftover turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Leftover gravy for dipping. I still think about those…"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Some other things that we have done with leftover turkey: Turkey Chili Verde, Sloppy Joes using diced turkey, spaghetti using diced turkey, a sandwich using sliced turkey on toast with barbecue sauce and cheese nuked until the cheese melts. We usually save the turkey carcass and use it to make gumbo on Christmas Eve.
Ham gets cooked with Navy beans or goes into sandwiches. Last time I made lentil soup with hame, Rotel, lentils, and carrots. I would have added kale or spinach but mom isn't supposed to have greens with Plavix. -

Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.Walter Sobchak: Nihilists! *uck me. the only gumbo, with okra, that I have enjoyed was made by @nolaegghead 's buddy at one of the brisket camps (the guy that smashed nola's truck door). He literally, and figuratively, cooked the snot out of it. That gumbo was phenomenal.
caliqueen keeps trying to convince me to eat it. I threaten to leave. She may have found an easy way to get rid of me.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
You have to cook the proverbial snot out of the okra. SwMBO hates it too...although I love it, with or without the snot.______________________________________________I love lamp..

It's really a shame you decided to become a butt doctor. You could have done something with your life..."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

theres a ground seep in one spot in the yard, runs under three raised beds, a row of tall blueberry bushes and out to the river thru a retaining wall of railroad ties. the bog is along the retaining wall. i dont water anything except for the first few weeks of planting. i let the cranberries ripen paste what you would see at the store, by tday they look like they are about to explode and they are much sweeter at that point
