OK - I'm a 77 year old fart...

My Wonderful late Father taught me SO MANY manly skills, how to do this and that with wood, automobiles, household appliances, even plumbing and electrical how to's and working with other machines and wrenches, etc, but NEVER how to “BBQ” as it is called...

And my Wonderful late Mother even taught me how to sew on buttons and even how to sew fabrics on a sewing machine. And of course how to sort clothes and wash them. Household chores were NEVER a gender issue when I was a kid even with my older sister present!

While Mom did let me watch her cook and bake some things I don’t feel that she ever taught me nor even encouraged me how to cook, nor bake…not sure why, but so be it...

So between what little I saw and learned about cooking. baking and grilling then I have really taught myself! (And yet for 9 years I taught people at $45 per head how to cook on their Big Green Egg! LOL)

Today I made 3 more batches of pizza crust for future use and I SWEAR I ONCE AGAIN taught myself EVEN SO many more hints and solutions to that recipe for future crusts!

Funny how life deals you a hand and then you either pick up and run with it …or it all passes you by, huh?
