Need a new blower for the small BGE

I "loaned" my blower for the small BGE to my son in law and I need to replace it.  it doesn't matter what brand it is as long as it has the correct adapter for the small's draft door.

also would appreciate a suggestion as to where to buy a new one, again brand is of no consequence.

Are you looking for a whole new controller or just the fan itself? If it's just the fan what controller do you have? If you let us know the brand or model of the controller that will help us come up with a replacement fan for you.

The Egg Genius comes with an additional adapter that works with the small draft door.

I'm now using a HeaterMeter, but I re-used the fans from my Stoker after the stoker died.  the stoker uses 5volt fans, and the HeaterMeter uses 12V fans, but I replaced the fans.  the folks that build the HeaterMeter don't sell fans.  so short answer to your question is a Stoker fan for the small BGE would be great!

So you have Stoker fans available? I'm having a hard time following.

I'm not sure you will be able to find anything compatible with the Stoker jack plug and it being chipped. Unless you plan on resoldering them?

Looking for a blower? I emailed a buddy of mine who I thought had had some success he said:

”blower? Thought I found one in college. 

Ten years later it stopped working, right around the time I got married. 

Too expensive to turn it in and get another. So I just live with it. “

My stoker died and they of course are out of business.  I have both a large and small BGE.

I bought a HeaterMeter controller which I am very happy with.  HeaterMeter doesn't sell blowers.

I wanted to reuse the Stoker blowers with the HeaterMeter.  I replaced the 5volt fans in the Stoker housings with 12v fans to be compatible with the HeaterMeter.

Trouble started when I bought my S-I-L a BGE.  I also bought him a HeaterMeter.  Since I had both a large and small BGE Stoker blower (modded to 12volt) I "loaned" him one.

I now need to replace the one I loaned him.

I found my way to the FlameBoss website.  They sell replacement blowers with "kamado" mounting flanges.  I will buy one of those and cut the barrel connector off and replace with an RJ11 connector for use with the HeaterMeter.

another another vote for Auber. They make most of the parts others repackage. I would check with them.
