Big green egg with hinges old

Bought a used big green egg with hinges .. it has two 1 inch cracks in the fire bowl , but not on the outside of the fire bowl.. can I fix it

    Just use it.  Even if it cracks through, you can probably get the pieces to hold together.  If not, buy one at that time.  They are less than $150.   But, hopefully you get years out of it with just a crack.

    You're golden. No need to worry. We've seen them pieced back together like a jigsaw and used like that for years. I'm talking 10+ pieces. A couple small little cracks are no biggie.

    I egged for several years with a fire bowl in 7 pieces. And I had a warranty bowl in my garage - I just finally switched out since I needed the space in my garage for something else that fit that space perfectly!

    BTW I'd even bet an older egg has less chance of damage to the base than the new eggs!
