Duck/goose: no BGE, a lot of help

Renting a mountain lake house for Thanksgiving. They have an oven and a gasser. I want duck or goose. Preferably goose. I'm feeding 9 adults.

1) where to buy? If I need to order online I want to do now 2) recipes and advice? 3) what am I missing?

youre missing a huge drip pan with the goose and a way to drain it halfway thru the cook ;) theres 5 gallons of grease in a goose.  ive only cooked one goose, probably wont ever cook another. duck i cook low and slow, most recipes are at higher temps and finding just duck breasts would probably be the way to go. a strong cranberry/blueberry/citrus relish goes good with it

you can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

    that is good to know
I did some reading after making this thread and I think duck confit might be a better route for me. I can use the sous vide and apparently get pretty good results.
