Have a Green Egg LED light that has been sitting out in the Arizona sun all summer. Need to replace the batteries. Assume I unscrew the bottom? Arrows on bottom indicate that but not budging. Don't want to break it. I assume it's sealed due to the 115 degree temps out here. Any ideas? Thanks

Warm up the battery cover in some hot water for a minute (you can wrap with plastic to keep dry). If that doesn't work, spray some wd-40 on the threaded joint. If none of that works get a framing hammer and put it in a vice.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot

Pull it off the egg and try tapping the threads. You might have some battery leakage seized in the threads.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas
