    Took an early ROTC exam, 32 questions, and it was a speed test.  Question #1:  “Carefully read all questions through before beginning”.  Question #2: “Draw three lines under your name at the top.”  (I got this!) …
    Question #6: “If you’re the first person to get to this step, announce in a loud voice “I’m the first person to get to this step!”  (I did) 
    I kept going, obviously leading the class, and soon got to Questions telling me to stand on my chair, beat my fist against the wall, and I was so proud to be ahead of everyone else.

    Question #32: “Now that you’ve read all questions as requested in #1, stop, set your pencil down and sit quietly until the end of the test.”  
    Me (in the quietest voice possible):  “Oh, f*ck”
    Half the class, and the Instructor:  dies in uproarious laughter.
    The other half of the class (who had been obediently yelling out “I’m the x-th person to get to this step!”: suddenly quiet, looking around furtively.

    27 years ago I watched the Big Bang Theory, enjoyed related to the show quite a bit.  It's now popped up on my EweTube Teevee and I'm watching a few episodes I haven't seen before (Life in the Fast Lane!)  One thing I never understood was the theme song's line "The albatross began to drool, we built the Wall", so after extended Internet Research I learned the line is "The autotroph began to drool".  Had to look that one up on Apple Dictionary, it didn't appear, so I tried Googlez and learned an autotroph is a living organism that gets its nutrition from inorganic substances (as in plants and some bacteria (the autotrophs, not the substances)).  
    So I learned something tonight.  
    Halftime should be over now, so I will return to my regularly-scheduled NFL game.  Bang!

    Note my handle. But I have seen bass boats after flounder, specks , and reds inside of the islands.

    I have a strong fear of heights, but thanks to my birth at the right time (during GoPro, but before the Second Dark Ages) I get to see things like this.  It makes me pucker, but dayam it's fun!
