New style band bite adjustment?

Couple of bases ago I switched over to the new style of bands for the my large. Sometimes I’ve got a little underbite depending on how the base was made - not much, 1/4” or less at most. That’s nothing. But it just got me wondering a little CAN you adjust the bite with the new bands? I know the old ones you could. And my bite used to “self adjust” all over the map with use and would need a tuneup every now and then. Something I love about the band that it never seems to need this.
