Georgia Mountain Eggfest 2021

The 10th Annual GA Mt. Eggfest is history. It was a super successful fest with close to 2000 tasters and almost 100 cooks. The weather was perfect and the dishes these amazing cooks/chefs created were the best I've seen here or at any fest I've been to.........and, I've been to over 30 eggfests across the country. The quality, creativity and variety were off the charts. I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Royal Oak charcoal for their amazing support of our eggfest.  We were having big problems locating enough quality lump charcoal, including Big Green Egg's brand, to run or eggfest. It takes about 1400 pounds of lump to make this happen and, due to my main man Barrett Carter and his connection to the Royal Oak Company, they sent us 1400 pounds of their lump free of charge !!! I know I use Royal oak all the time. Good on them. Now that I live closer I will be attending this one. IMO it is the largest Eggfest I have heard about.

I suppose it would have helped if you showed up and induced the trots as a weight loss measure to all.

Good for Royal Oak! I got suckered in at Costco and bought a huge bag of Cowboy Charcoal that was mostly junk. Small pebbles that will clog my air vents. Can’t wait to use it up and get some REAL charcoal from Royal Oak!

Water weight isn’t the issue around here.  Culturally, we proudly eat as poorly as my grandpappy’s grandpappy did and wrap ourselves in fatty fried food as easily as we slip on our favorite flag.  Then add all the sugar from the 20th century.

At least Walmart has plenty of those little electric shopping cart things.

I live in North GA, also attended this event........not taking anything too seriously!....I’m dying right now😂
