Now that I have kids I’m trying to be a bit more prepared in life for earthquakes, floods etc..
what do you guys do?
Does water go bad / if so after how many years?
Do I need to re filter / or boil if used after a long period of time?
Storage? 5 gal jerry cans or 55 gal drum?
Chlorine tab?
Life straw?

Thanks again just looking for a little bit of guidance

im thinking if its sealed well, not stored in a hot and or a sunny spot, a year.  the five gallon containers are easier to move incase you need to flee the area. not so sure about sourcing, thinking city and artesian well is safer than dug etc but no idea

you can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
