Home Audio overload
Ridiculous, but fascinating (the home is pretty overload, too).

Carbon-fiber covered, helium-filled audio cables. 20-amp breakers on every stereo and mono amp. More amps than I have underwear AND socks. And move your glassware to the floor, please!
Finally, ANY "woodworker" who applies stain to Tiger Maple should be shot on sight. Other than that, Enjoy!

Numerous dubious claims with regards to that equipment, not a surprise for the "high end" audio world. One spec on the amps that caught my attention, output frequency down to 0Hz. That is DC the way I learned electronics, not very friendly to speaker voice coils. Turns out there is a sub being sold that claims a freq. response of 1- 30Hz.
