Shepard’s Pie and Bread

It’s 23 degrees outside here in Austin and the Egg is getting a rest. Tried making Shepherds Pie for the first time (Joshua Wiesman recipe) and it was fantastic.  

The bread wasn’t my finest work...I think my yeast was old and the rise never got to where I was happy with it, and the hydration was off somehow. Turned out okay but not great.
