Risks definitely exist when you go outside. Getting attacked by a mountain lion, bit by a shark, struck by lightning, etc. I’ll take those risks over the much higher percentage chance of being killed by being sedentary though. 

I remember a post last year where someone stated that she.. I mean he.. was scared of the ocean because of sharks and wouldn’t go far into the water. Funny that they will let their arteries clog with crap though and live a life of obesity.

I'm not afraid of much, but those things scare the hell out of me! Been too close to a couple over the years, and I sure haven't forgotten those moments.
