OT - Hot tub or pool? Beachcomber?

-
When our kids were young in southernn California, we had a hot tub that we kept pool temp in the summer and the kids played in it. We used it as a hot tub the rest of the year.
Later, in Texas, we built a pool with an attached spa (those suck by comparison). But in Texas we used the pool 9 months of the year.
Now in Colorado, we bought a larger hot tub that we use year round, especially in winter. A soak when it's snowing is pretty great, highly recommend.
Personally, we skipped a lounge seat. We keep ours at 102F, so we don't soak for a long time and we've found that we like sitting up and playing musical chairs with the different seats. -
I own both, and have at multiple homes over the past 20 years. I would get a hot tub before a pool ... hot tub can be used year round, pool - only in summers. Hot tub is easier to maintain.Napoleon Prestige Pro 665, XL BGE, Lots of time for BBQ!
