Well tonight I had a SRF Slaw (Hot) Dog and Baked Beans and SRF weenies. Tonight it was built with homemade chili, mustard, KETCHUP, onion and of course coleslaw. No pictures as it was the runner up to an old classic. 

Now the ol Van Camps Bernie Weenies had a special place in my formative years. Tonight, the Slaw Dog took a back seat to this modernized classic. 



A detailed recipe will follow:

*.  SRF Hot Dogs (diced)
*.  Bush’s Boston Baked Beans (make sure you scrape the sauce from the side of the can)
*.  Combine and heat (stove top, cast iron on the egg....or just pour over a SRR weenie (it’s really an important decision, but certain all on here (including newbies) will make a great choice. Experiment over multiple meals if you like. 

Eat and enjoy an ol staple from olden times.
