I'd have never thought that they'd put it in the bun and then deep-fry it. Wonder what it would have been like if they'd cooled the cooked cheeseburger a bit, lightly breaded it, deep fried it, and then out it into the bun along with the condiments.

There is a restaurant here in New Orleans that does a deep fried roast beef poboy.  It's better than it sounds.
