Sweet Corn

My FIL just gave me a nice haul of sweet corn. I would like to boil some of it. Is it possible to boil water in the egg?

Just throw it on the grill unshucked and take off when tender . Steams inside the shuck.  No point in boiling water on the egg,  you can do that in kitchen.

Shuck it, olive oil it and grill until corn is as some caramelized.

Soak what your going to cook in a pitcher of water for an hour or so in the husk. Remove from pitcher shake excess water off throw on the egg. Pull them off and cut the stalk side off about 3/4" up the the cob, slide it right out and enjoy.

I believe if you stir the pot it will boil.

I'm planning on using Rockwood. Hoping for at least 250f.

Water typically boils at 212*. Using Rockwood should easily raise the boiling point to 250* versus other lump.
