Poultry smell after cooking

Anyone else ever experience a freshwater/wet dog smell with their chicken after grilling? It I experience this mostly with breasts (Only when cooking them without the lemon/garlic/OO marinade) and sometimes whole chickens. I had it on chicken breasts tonight and I’m wondering why. The dates good too. 24th of this month.

I'm not familiar with that! Doesn't sound right to me. Are they washed first? Chicken from the store has been washed in some Anti-microbial bath.. ?
