Big Green Egg Headquarters

Hi everyone,

I used to live in the Atalanta GA area but have since moved to Wisconsin. While living in Atlanta the big green egg headquarters warrantied the base on my large big green egg and I purchased all remaining pieces to build a brand new egg from their location as well....I believe this was in 2013.

Jump ahead now and I’m living in Wisconsin and my base has now cracked again, along with the fIre ring and fire box (I know these aren’t that bad yet)

This post is kind of my last plea before considering buying something else. I’m be called and left messages, I’ve sent emails and even submitted requests through the big green egg website with no response.  I even tweeted at them but it seems to have been removed with no response. I did receive a response from the on June 15th about a different matter but they’ve now gone dark.

Does anyone know if they’ve gone out of business?  Are they now closed all of a sudden due to Covid?  Any other tips or suggestions on how to get in contact with them would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Danny

Have you attempted to get a replacement through a local dealer? Some are better than others, but I believe that is the protocol to start with.

I tried one but was told I had to have a receipt....which I don’t have since it was so long ago....pretty sure I lost it discarded it during our move to Wisconsin. So I was hopeful the bge heqdquarters would have the transaction and other purchases on record. Guess I could try another dealer around here.

They will have you in the system if you gave them your info when you bought the parts. I bought an xl from them in the same time range 2014 maybe and when i went in for warranty in like 2018 they saw it. The warranty guys name is Bruce Bohannon his email is something like bruce@biggreenegg.com.

Thanks again everyone!!  Bruce actually just responded this morning from the website request I submitted a couple of days ago. Sooooo relieved!!

I actually love the Wisconsin weather....I love the lack of traffic compared to Atlanta....but I miss being away from the mothership!  I feel like I need to go to confession after some of the thoughts I’ve had while waiting for a response. 🤪

In the Madison/verona area....I frequented the UW Provision in middleton. Worth a trip there to check out the meat selection.

Fairly big egg section. Other than that, hit up a few Ace's. The Ace by me really is great for egg support. I am in Delafield, about an hour away from you.
