Egg alignment- back of egg has a gap, help!

Ok, I've spent waaaay too many hours fiddling and stressing over my medium egg with the new hinges, there is a gap in the back of the egg that fails the dollar bill test (all other spaces work). I've adjusted the bottom band first to go right under the edge, and then loosened the top band and pushed the egg top down, then tightened the top band. No matter what I do, there is still a gap.
My sanity is clearly going...

I would suspect it’s an XL?

Can you take a picture from a few feet out so we can get a idea of what’s going on?South of Columbus, Ohio.

The dome is sitting flat on the base, then as you tighten the back bolt it lifts?

I believe so, when the upper back bolt is loose, I line up the top and bottom with the spacers, and the dollar bill test works on the back. Then, I tighten the upper band, and the dollar bill test fails.
I can send photos, but I don't think you can see much from the naked eye, but I will go take pics now...L, M, MM "These pretzels are making me thirsty" -

The carriage bolts are going different directions because I saw they were sent to me backwards and I had to switch them because the square end was on the wrong side...L, M, MM "These pretzels are making me thirsty"

Try holding the dome in place and tighten your bolts with the springs attached.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

I’d ask @RRP. I see you have one of his gaskets or one like it.

That one band is on upside down - Even if you say that's the way it came it is STILL upside down and should be disassembled and reversed. OK?

Ok, I went to my local dealer, picked up the white spacers, and that seemed to help a lot. Grilling chicken tonight, will test it out, thanks for your help!L, M, MM "These pretzels are making me thirsty" -
