OT - Comet Neowise - OT
I've seen some stunning photos lately of Comet Neowise, this one taken at the Crazy Horse carving in my home state, South Dakota. They haven't removed much rock since the last time I was there....

Now that's cool. Crazy Horse doesn't look all that different from what I remember when I was there 15 years ago~ John - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

As far as the comet goes, I saw it three nights ago. It has been cloudy on the western horizon since then. The night I saw it, it looked good, but not spectacular due the atmospheric haze. The haze made it difficult to see the tail clearly.
Viewing the comet from Crazy Horse would be awesome.

I spent most of the Hale Bopp visit out in the woods in the middle of nowhere. It made for some really cool night viewing

I've seen dozens of fantastic photos of Neowise. A shame tho that it doesn't look anywhere near as cool to the naked eye (damn weak humans!).“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk

It was a clear night in SW Indiana last night. Got to see the comet with naked eye and binoculars . It was awesome . I remember Hale-Bopp, I was 16 then . Once in a lifetime event . I couldn’t get my wife to come outside last night and see this one .
