To brine a butt or not, that is my question

Hi all,
Just wondering how many of us brine Butts before smoking. I only have two under my belt. For the first, I used the 2004 Eggtoberfest (Bill Blakley) brine recipe and the nearly the same for the second, but replaced part of the molasses with sorghum (ran out). I also injected the second with an apple juice-dry rub mixture. So, the question is: Do you brine? If so, will you share your brine tips?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
