The Boss is sick of my cookers being on her nice patio...she wants me to have a concrete pad pored for my cookers. I am thinking a 10x12 should be big enough for the XL egg, KJ Classic, JR and Blackstone.
Do you think this is big enough? The area she wants it there isn’t much space I might be able to squeeze another 18inches each way.

That should be big enough if this area is a destination and not to walk through to get somewhere else...Charlotte, NC - Large BGE 2014, Maverick ET 733, Thermopen, Nest, Platesetter, Woo2 and Extender w/Grid, Kick Ash Basket, Pizza Stone, SS Smokeware Cap, Blackstone 36"

You could get away with a much smaller one for her lawn chair...South of Columbus, Ohio.

@alaskanassasin agreed, but with “her patio” she has plans....which means she’s spending $$$$💵XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

Any man worth his salt would parlay this into a outdoor kitchen build.South of Columbus, Ohio.

That’s the plan, it will just be a slow process...but honestly do you thing the 10x12 extension is big enough?alaskanassasin said:Any man worth his salt would parlay this into a outdoor kitchen build.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2 -
Do you plan on patio seating and eating in this area also?XL BGE and Kamado Joe Jr.

@speed51133 no, this is just to be my cooking area. I will have them run the electric to it and set brackets for the roof area...then hopefully will build out the kitchen.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

I recommend going as big as you can. I’ve never met
amyone who said they wished they hadn't poured as
much concrete but many wish they had done a little more. The extra cost is minor.

As with all patios and decks, I would imagine in a few years it's more likely you'll wish you had gone bigger than regret not keeping it smaller. Either way, good luck.Stillwater, MN

@pgprescott when the come out I’ll see how much bigger we can go. Looking at the area my wife wants my cookers I’m limited..
