Most threads on the forum I can just admire the food and move on.
This thread has me wanting to go make 7 different sandwiches and eat them all.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

You can have a really good BLT or a really bad BLT. They're really only seasonal here in MN. Outside late summer or fall they're not very good when you can't get fresh. Always with honey mustard though.

BLT, grilled cheese, pulled pork, and a basic club sandwich.  It's hard to go wrong with any of those, unless I'm drinking coffee .. then I want a peanut butter sandwich.

@REB17 I’m pretty sure I’d eat a dog food sandwich if it was wrapped in Augusta green plastic (followed up by a pimiento cheese sammich, of course)

Assuming I’m not at the Masters, my all time favorite is a charbroiled pork banh mi.  Crusty French roll, bbq pork, cilantro, mayo, jalapeno, pickled radish and pickled carrots.

Great thread!! If we do a cereal one next, I’ll love that one too

Mine is from a place local to Dallas called Bread Zeppelin. Basically they take any number of your choice of salads and stuff it inside a hollowed out homemade baguette. Sounds odd but it’s friggin insanely good. My favorite is the Chicken Caesar Salad Zeppelin. Friggin most amazing sandwich I’ve ever eaten by a long shot.

Best sandwich I’ve ever had was veal Parmesan on a French baguette in a little restaurant in Colorado.  Kinda like a po boy, but the bread was not the same as you get in New Orleans. (Those NOLA baguettes just taste better, and I don’t know why).  Absolutely delicious.

i think lunch today im heading out to bobo's for a sandwich, havent been there in along time. looks like they moved, spruced the place up, and dont make the battleship subs from a huge loaf anymore. just these small skinney rocket subs, we shall see how the place stacks up to earlier memories. they call themselves bennedettis nowadays =)  good review from the phantom gourmet, in the old days the health nuts would shut them down in the summers. almost think bobo wanted to get shut down in the summer

Just a simple pastrami/swiss on rye with good mustard for me. No matter what else is on a lunch menu I can't pass it up.

Favorite purchased sandwich is the Zman or pretty much any from KC Joes.

My wife and I like chicken so I smoke a few boneless skinless chicken breasts with some fruit wood and slice sort of thin. We then make a simple chipotle mayo mostly using Greek yogurt. Add a slice of tomato and avocado and you have a delicious and somewhat healthy sandwich.
