So much time - Low and Slow & Sourdough

Greetings Egg-nerds,

I am guessing many of us are using this time to hone our cooking skills and even learn some new ones. I decided to play home-school science teacher and my 12 y.o. daughter and I made a Sourdough starter and bread. Also cooked: brisket flat, spatch chicken, ribeye, cured and smoked my own bacon, NY Style beagles and I made a batch of kimchi. Pictorial below.

Lots of great food on display there.
    Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I really appreciate your excellent cooks. They do, however, make me realize how short my own cooking efforts have fallen. I seriously need to work harder.

Antiseptic cream is for a bad cut when I was slicing bacon and got into an argument with an ant.

Kimchi is per this recipe: https://youtu.be/eTucCw1w6Ak
