    Those A's teams were pretty dang good. Ruined my team's chances more than once so it was easy for me to pull for the Dodgers, but I'm partial to Puckett's Game 6 walk-off in 1991. Of course Leibrandt was no Eckersley.

    That Gibson shot really hurt.  Yes, the A's were good back then going to the WS 3 years in a row but only bringing it home in earthquake delayed '89.  
    I think they have only won one play-off series since.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
