Small BGE Owners

Just purchased a small BGE to accomodate Big Guy but I am not pleased with how wide the small guy will open. It seems a very restrictive opening. Any ideas to adjust this opening or is there a locking mechanism like Big Guy on the horizon for the small guy?

Until recently, all I had ever cooked on was a Small BGE. Do not worry about how much the lid will open, there is enough room to fit what ever you need in it. I once slow smoked an 11.5 pork shoulder in my small BGE. [p]I may actually be concerned about tipping the little guy over if the dome opened too far.[p]Hope this helps,

Thanks....now for another question. I bought the egg nest and it sets too low for me...any suggestions???

My egg sits on the ground, so I sit in a chair in front of it. It has been in the same location since I purchased it. I guess that I am just used to it.[p]R&J
