Tuffy Stone's Q Barbecue has a couple of locations in the Richmond area. Never tried it, just heard of Tuffy Stone. =)

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Go to ZZQ in Scott's Addition and get the Brisket its the best in town, imho. Buz and Ned's has good que and ribs and is around the corner from ZZQ, there is 2nd Buz and Ned's location out on W. Broad depending on where you are staying. I'm not a Q BBQ fan compared to the others I mentioned. Let me know if you need any other recommendations around town.

What gmanrva said. I got to admit I am not much of a sauce fan but Buz and Neds sauce is grrrreat.

ZZQ, Buzz & Neds, Alamo or Deeprun Roadhouse (same owners).  Check out HogsHead Cafe, too.

Next time you are in Richmond, take a short drive South to Petersburg and check out Saucy’s.
