They were great. I costed them with butter and some big butts dry rub. Really good wings. I also used mesquite wood. Was a bit strong but not bad.

Didn’t the chicken fat burn and give them a nasty flavor?

Nope. Not at all. I turned them a few times. Kept the egg at 350 some temp. Cooked with dome closed and took maybe 30 min.XL BGE and Kamado Joe Jr.
