Going round 2 on this salsa, adding in 6 tomatillos.

Being the thread wimp I made a batch last week with 6 habs and two tomatillos along with the garlic (used a bulb and half). I may be done messing with the mix and stay where I'm at for a while. It is addicting and the covid 19 doesn't stand a chance.

(Edit); I think the tomatillos are a good add. You will enjoy if you can even taste them with the high heat.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Watch this be a Corvid 19 cure.

Done! Used lime, lemon, and orange juice. This is a keeper!

Yes. I'm really surprised how much this has taken off. Between you, @lousubcap and me, we've made this at least six times already.Plymouth, MN

It's in the "gotta have" rotation. Next batch, early next week. I just need to put on the big boy pants and "go for the full monty!" However, that judgment gene keeps surfacing...Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. It's hot, I just ate some about 20 minutes ago and I am still on fire. Be careful @lousubcap!

I've found it mellows out after a few days in the fridge.Plymouth, MN

I am too old to be this hooked on hot salsa. My son of 32 had some yesterday (the wimp version-6 habs) and asked, "why do you make/eat this?" I did not offer what he considered a satisfactory answer. Game on...milesvdustin said:It's hot, I just ate some about 20 minutes ago and I am still on fire. Be careful @lousubcap!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Judgement be da-ned. All in with the 24 habs, 6 tomatillos and 2 bulbs of garlic. Substituted lemons for the limes.
Firing 'em up.
Blending 'em up.
Eating 'em up. As mentioned, there is a great flavour profile (definitely not much more initial impact than when I made it with 6 habs.) But the knock-on impact is quite noticeable.
As noted above, a true keeper and the last of my experiments with this. Many thanks to @dmourati for the initial enlightenment. "Fire in the hole!"Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. I am planting Jamaican Scotch Bonnets this year. That might be an interesting twist on this.

I have found, given I am around 4-5 weeks into the full 24 hab monty that the going in heat is pretty consistent whether 4, 6 or 24 habs (my only sample points) as mentioned above. No question that once you get way up there in hab count the delayed and then staying power high heat impact is obvious. This is a true palate cleanser.
