Dome issue with XL BGE

My 2014 XL thermometer hole isn't perpendicular either. Never noticed until now. I've never had a problem with the clip loosening. Have since used a cork to raise the thermo without the clip attached. Works flawlessly.XL BGE, 22" Weber Red Head, Fiesta Gasser .... Peoria,AZ
