Just received my 3 pack from Creekstone. The sent a 4th by accident so I am going to cook the smallest one this Sunday. The large ones in the image are for a BBQ when my Stepson is in town in a few weeks.

on orders over $100, rec'd an 1# package of wagyu ground beef that I didn't order or pay for.

I am PNG for sure-Persona Non-Grata with Creekstone.  Took delivery today of their tomahawk ribeye steak sale and no bonus.  Matter of fact-never have gotten an overfill from them.  But not a concern as long as the ordered groceries get here and nail their texture and flavour.  FWIW-

@lousubcap had to laugh at this. I might have to give these guys a try if they are adding extras. My luck lately...I'll probably be missing something I paid for

I called them regarding the extra Tri Tip. They said it was a mistake in packing but to enjoy the extra Tri Tip.

@JohnEggGio Congrats on popping the SRF 🍒. Those and the bone filets are some of my favorite cuts from them. A recommendation, if I may. Reverse sear, caveman finish.

I saw on FB Creekstone has three Tri Tips for $69. Sounds like a pretty good deal!

@lousubcap Thanks for posting that.  I did a veal chop a while back via T-Rex, thought it was the best steak/chop I’d ever had.

I cook tri tip with his method. They turn out great. Fat is your friend with this method.

I think starting with a good quality tri-tip I would rather have a nice crust on both sides and no fat cap but appreciate both styles

i have had tri tip from Harter House. They were really good quality.
