Just received my 3 pack from Creekstone. The sent a 4th by accident so I am going to cook the smallest one this Sunday. The large ones in the image are for a BBQ when my Stepson is in town in a few weeks.

A few months ago I ordered a bunch of the less expensive cuts from
https://wienswagyu.com when they were running a special for free shipping
on orders over $100, rec'd an 1# package of wagyu ground beef that I didn't order or pay for.Lrg 2008

I am PNG for sure-Persona Non-Grata with Creekstone. Took delivery today of their tomahawk ribeye steak sale and no bonus. Matter of fact-never have gotten an overfill from them. But not a concern as long as the ordered groceries get here and nail their texture and flavour. FWIW-

@JohnEggGlo That's some great steaks right there. I have never gone down the dry aged road with SRF. Please post a review once you enjoy the banquet on the other side. TIA-

@dstearn better lucky than good any day!@JohnEggGio Congrats on popping the SRF 🍒. Those and the bone filets are some of my favorite cuts from them. A recommendation, if I may. Reverse sear, caveman finish.

-
@Cornfed. Maybe caveman. I was thinking reverse sear one and T-Rex the other.Maryland, 1 LBGE

@JohnEggGio t-Rex?

I saw on FB Creekstone has three Tri Tips for $69. Sounds like a pretty good deal!

@lousubcap Thanks for posting that. I did a veal chop a while back via T-Rex, thought it was the best steak/chop I’d ever had.Maryland, 1 LBGE

I think starting with a good quality tri-tip I would rather have a nice crust on both sides and no fat cap but appreciate both stylesi have had tri tip from Harter House. They were really good quality.
